What is a re-inquiry?

"Re-inquiry" is the label REPS uses to describe each time an existing lead reaches out to you in response to some sort of marketing tactic you've put into the market place. Adding Additional Contacts to a Lead

Once you've added a lead, at any time you may want to add another contact to their record. This could be an adult child, attorney, or geriatric care manager.

To add another contact, go to the lead record that you want to add the contact to. On the left side of the screen, under Leads, click on the Other Contacts tab. To add a new contact click Add on the right side of your screen.

How to Export a List of Email Addresses

Tracking Couples with the 2nd Person Box

Second Person Box

First, let's clarify just who the "2nd Person" is. Usually the second person is the spouse of the prospect. When adding the spouse’s name in the Prospect page, make sure you put it in the 2nd Person box (shown in red below.) Even though they seem like a unit, it will cause problems down the road if you make the mistake of putting both names (e.g. Betty and Don) in the First Name field on the Contact page.

Status codes should…

• Clearly tell us where the lead is in the sales process.

• Be looked at during every interaction and should be updated as often as needed.

• Be simple enough that it’s always obvious which one to choose. Grouping like items together will help keep things organized!

How to See Changes in Status Code Over Time

REPS doesn't make it easy to see how the status code of a specific lead has changed over time. Sure, you can look up each activity and see if things changed from one to the next, but shouldn't there be an eaiser way to get a snapshot?

Of course there is! 

You can look at a Completed Activity Log for JUST that person, which will give you the history of intereactions as well as the progression of the status codes over time!

Want to Know How Many People You Have in Each Status Code?

This is actually a great report that has lots of useful applications once you understand how it works. Here's how to run a simple report to get the count by status code.

  • Reports -> Analysis -> Lead Count Analysis
  • Change “Leads by” to Status Code

I got a great question this morning from a client. Her sales team wants to add resident-related activities to REPS but she wasn't sure how to do this without affecting sales-focused conversion rates. Here's my advice:
